| I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. | I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. |

| For he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. | He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints. |
| See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness. | Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. |
