| O Lord, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away. | O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. |
| His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. | According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. |

| The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge. | The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. |
| O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the peoples. | O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. |
| So I will display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. | Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
| And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him. | And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. |
| Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be known in all the earth. | Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. |
| And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. | And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. |
| Nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known. | For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. |
| Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. | Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. |
| Give heed to my reproof; I will pour out my thoughts to you; I will make my words known to you. | Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. |
| What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.” | What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. |
| I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ himself. | That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ. |
| Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it. | Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. |
| Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. | Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. |
| No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known. | No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. |
| And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. | And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope. |

| Just as you do not know how the breath comes to the bones in the mother's womb, so you do not know the work of God, who makes everything. | As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. |
| Because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. | Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. |
| Even before a word is on my tongue, O Lord, you know it completely. | For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. |
| Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have stripped off the old self with its practices and have clothed yourselves with the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of its creator. | Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. |
| If any of you sin without knowing it, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, you have incurred guilt, and are subject to punishment. | And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. |
| Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. | Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. |
| So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. | And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. |
