- Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;
let this be known to all the world. - If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
- And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
- Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done. - There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
- You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar. - Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
- Repent at my rebuke!
Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
I will make known to you my teachings. - Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely. - What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
- I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.
- The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
- Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
- Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand. - Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
- I know that my redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth. - No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
- By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
- To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
- This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
- Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
- In that day you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.” - Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.Next verse!With image
