- Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
- Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken. - This, then, is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.’ - Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
- Do everything in love.
- On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”

for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle. - Give careful thought to the paths for your feet
and be steadfast in all your ways. - If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever.
- Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
- Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.
- Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
- Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
- He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
- Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
- Show me your ways, Lord,
teach me your paths.
