Chinese (traditional)- Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life. - He said to them, “Then do you also fail to understand? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile,
since it enters, not the heart but the stomach, and goes out into the sewer?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.) - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
my whole life long. - To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
- Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
- Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and those who love it will eat its fruits. - I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have given me life. - Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life,
but one who rejects a rebuke goes astray. - The blessing of the Lord makes rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it. - For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- All day long the wicked covet,
but the righteous give and do not hold back. - Better is a little with righteousness
than large income with injustice. - Just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
- Welcome those who are weak in faith, but not for the purpose of quarreling over opinions.
- But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
- Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For it is on him that God the Father has set his seal.
- The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
- We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
- And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
- You show me the path of life.
In your presence there is fullness of joy;
in your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - Those who withhold kindness from a friend
forsake the fear of the Almighty. - But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace.
And it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.Next verse!With image
