- Like a city that is broken into and without walls
So is a person who has no self-control over his spirit. - Do all things without complaining or arguments; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding firmly the word of life.

Unless He reveals His secret plan
To His servants the prophets. - Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
- So will My word be which goes out of My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it. - But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
- Or can a person walk on hot coals
And his feet not be scorched? - But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.
- He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, without the possibility that mankind will find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.
- Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

- Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
- Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness:
He who was revealed in the flesh,
Was vindicated in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Proclaimed among the nations,
Believed on in the world,
Taken up in glory. - Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
- For one who finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord. - I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
- The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life. - Do not worry about your life, as to what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.

Are riches, honor, and life. - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.
- Listen, my son, and accept my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many. - These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
- A soothing tongue is a tree of life,
But perversion in it crushes the spirit. - I hurried and did not delay
To keep Your commandments. - Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends.
