- Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore. - And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
- Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
- The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
- Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
- I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
- He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good. - Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
- They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
- He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
- Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
- In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
