- For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their prayer.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Our steps are made firm by the Lord,
when he delights in our way. - With the Lord on my side I do not fear.
What can mortals do to me? - The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low, he also exalts. - Even before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, you know it completely. - Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.
- Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established. - Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
- For whoever finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the Lord. - It is you who light my lamp;
the Lord, my God, lights up my darkness. - Seek the Lord while he may be found,
call upon him while he is near. - Rise up, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand;
do not forget the oppressed. - “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Lord commends.
- Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his presence continually. - You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am.
- The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time on and forevermore. - Blessed be the Lord,
who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation. Selah - The blessing of the Lord makes rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for the Lord does not see as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
- Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell on the ground and worshiped. He said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul.Next verse!With image
