Chinese (traditional)- You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
- Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always. - You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
abounding in love to all who call to you. - For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
- He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. - “And with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.” - But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
- Save me, Lord,
from lying lips
and from deceitful tongues. - This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”
- Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing
without revealing his plan
to his servants the prophets. - Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain. - May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
- For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!
- And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
- Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.
Do not forget the helpless. - Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
- Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?” - Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always. - Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
- For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God?
The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts.A fool spurns a parent’s discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence. The one whose walk is blameless,
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
and casts no slur on others.Next verse!With image
