Bible Verses about 'Make room'
- Remember, you must not make any idols of silver or gold to rival me.
- Giving a gift can open doors;
it gives access to important people! - Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.
- Come and listen to my counsel.
I’ll share my heart with you
and make you wise. - Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”
- Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”
- When you make a promise to God, don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him.
- But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
- Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”
- Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.
Let the whole world know what he has done. - And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
- And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.
- Show me the right path, O Lord;
point out the road for me to follow. - Wash yourselves and be clean!
Get your sins out of my sight.
Give up your evil ways. - Let your favor shine on your servant.
In your unfailing love, rescue me. - In this way, I will show my greatness and holiness, and I will make myself known to all the nations of the world. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
- I will bless my people and their homes around my holy hill. And in the proper season I will send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessing.
- Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.
- May he grant your heart’s desires
and make all your plans succeed. - And may the Lord our God show us his approval
and make our efforts successful.
Yes, make our efforts successful! - “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”
- And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.
- In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe. - Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.
- In that wonderful day you will sing:
“Thank the Lord! Praise his name!
Tell the nations what he has done.
Let them know how mighty he is!” - For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.
- Turn us again to yourself, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies.
Make your face shine down upon us.
Only then will we be saved. - We can make our plans,
but the Lord determines our steps. - There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
- Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
- You can make many plans,
but the Lord’s purpose will prevail. - Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval.
- God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.
- A gentle answer deflects anger,
but harsh words make tempers flare. - I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.

I can never get away from your presence!
If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there. - Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say,
“I will take revenge;
I will pay them back,”
says the Lord. - Commit everything you do to the Lord.
Trust him, and he will help you.
He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn,
and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. - Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.

and only later counting the cost. - Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
- May the Lord bless you
and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor
and give you his peace. - “Come now, let’s settle this,”
says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
I will make them as white as snow.
Though they are red like crimson,
I will make them as white as wool.” - Those who love your instructions have great peace
and do not stumble. - Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things.
Make known his praise around the world. - And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
- The Sovereign Lord is my strength!
He makes me as surefooted as a deer,
able to tread upon the heights. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take. - So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.
