| Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. | And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. | Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! | What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? |
| So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. | Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. |

| Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. | Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. |
| Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. | Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. |

| Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. | Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. |
| Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. | The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. |
| He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. | He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. |
| Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” | And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. |
| Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval. | Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. |
| Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched? | Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? |
| Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. | And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. |
| What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? | What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? |
