Chinese (traditional)- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
- You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?” - Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
- You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
- Deliver me, O Lord,
from lying lips,
from a deceitful tongue. - I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
- “Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” - If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
- But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
- Deep calls to deep
at the roar of your waterfalls;
all your breakers and your waves
have gone over me. - Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name! - Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’
- By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life. - God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer's;
he makes me tread on my high places. - But when they had grazed, they became full,
they were filled, and their heart was lifted up;
therefore they forgot me. - Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
- The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands. - I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
- And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.Next verse!With image
