- Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. - Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
- And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil. - It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness. - Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
- When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. - Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
- Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man
according to his work. - Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
- The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- But I have trusted in thy mercy;
my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I will sing unto the Lord,
because he hath dealt bountifully with me. - He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God?
But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.Next verse!With image
