Chinese (traditional)- As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
- Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
- In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
- Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let thy glory be above all the earth. - I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
- God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
- Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens:
and thy glory above all the earth. - Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
- Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
- Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
- But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
- The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
- What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
- Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
- Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
- Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
- And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it.Next verse!With image
