Chinese (traditional)- When I kept silence, my bones waxed old
through my roaring all the day long. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue. - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
- The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - I acknowledge my sin unto thee,
and mine iniquity have I not hid.
I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord;
and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. - And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
- Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. - If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings;
and the years of thy life shall be many. - O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. - Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. - But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord,
which made heaven and earth. - Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is. - My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee. - Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
- Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness.
My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart.For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
