Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Myself'
- So I will display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
- But I punish my body and enslave it, so that after proclaiming to others I myself should not be disqualified.
- I had eaten no rich food, no meat or wine had entered my mouth, and I had not anointed myself at all, for the full three weeks.
- They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.
- But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace.
- “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.” - I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
- To the one who conquers I will give a place with me on my throne, just as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
- My child, if your heart is wise,
my heart too will be glad. - I shall walk at liberty,
for I have sought your precepts. - I will both lie down and sleep in peace;
for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety. - Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - I made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.
- I was ready to be sought out by those who did not ask,
to be found by those who did not seek me.
I said, “Here I am, here I am,”
to a nation that did not call on my name. - Then I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not hide my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah - And ‘to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength,’ and ‘to love one's neighbor as oneself,’—this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation, who consoles us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction with the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God.Next verse!With image
