- For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
- But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint. - Guide my steps by your word,
so I will not be overcome by evil. - For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.

- Yes, God will bless us,
and people all over the world will fear him. - Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.
- For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
- Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
- All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation.
- Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise.

- The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers.
- And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
- Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.
Let the whole world know what he has done. - Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.
