Not (3/4)

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid. What can mortals do to me?
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, so that I stand unshaken.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. So we must not fall asleep as the others do, but we must stay alert and sober.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And yet not one of them is forgotten in God’s sight. Even the hairs on your head have all been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth far more than any number of sparrows.
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.Dear children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth.
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.Do not be lacking in zeal, but serve the Lord with spiritual fervor.
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.Dispose my heart to follow your statutes and to flee selfish gain.
If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. If you refuse to listen to me and do not sincerely resolve to give glory to my name, says the Lord of hosts, I will send a curse on you, and I will turn your blessings into a curse. Indeed, I have already done so because you have not heeded my warning.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male slave, nor his female slave, nor his oxen, nor his donkey, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor.
Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.O Lord, all my longing is known to you, and my sighs are not hidden from you.
Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.Do not wear yourself out in the pursuit of wealth, and cease even to think about it.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.Be doers of the word and not just hearers who only deceive themselves.
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the eternal God, the Creator of the earth’s farthest boundaries. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding cannot be scrutinized.
Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord. You shall not hate your brother in your heart, nor shall you rebuke your brother in any way, lest you bear sin because of him. You shall not seek vengeance nor bear a grudge against the children of your people. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.Bless those who persecute you; bless them and do not curse them.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The Lord does not delay in keeping his promise, as some think in terms of delay, but he is patient with you. It is not his wish that any should perish but rather that all should be brought to repentance.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.I have given you a command. Be strong and brave, do not be afraid nor dismayed. I, the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go.
These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.You can eat any water creature that has fins and scales; those you can eat. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them can fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. Even the hairs on your head have all been counted. So do not be afraid; you are worth far more than any number of sparrows.
Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.Out of the same mouth flow blessings and curses. This should not be so, my brethren.
