be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. - Help us, God our Savior,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us and forgive our sins
for your name’s sake. - I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples. - In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly. - The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands. - I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors:
You have given me wisdom and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king. - You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar. - Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
may your love and faithfulness always protect me. - You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
abounding in love to all who call to you. - Hear my prayer, Lord,
listen to my cry for help;
do not be deaf to my weeping.
I dwell with you as a foreigner,
a stranger, as all my ancestors were. - You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.

for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago. - Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws,
we wait for you;
your name and renown
are the desire of our hearts. - You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.
Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
