- You, Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures from generation to generation. - Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!
Shout, Daughter Jerusalem!
See, your king comes to you,
righteous and victorious,
lowly and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness. - Teach me your way, Lord,
that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name. - Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all. - In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety. - Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield. - Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, Lord, are good. - Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness. - Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief. - Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand. - May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. - Help us, God our Savior,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us and forgive our sins
for your name’s sake. - I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples. - In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly. - The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands. - I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors:
You have given me wisdom and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king. - You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar. - Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
may your love and faithfulness always protect me. - You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
abounding in love to all who call to you. - Hear my prayer, Lord,
listen to my cry for help;
do not be deaf to my weeping.
I dwell with you as a foreigner,
a stranger, as all my ancestors were. - You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
- Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago. - Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws,
we wait for you;
your name and renown
are the desire of our hearts. - You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.
Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”Next verse!With image
