- He sent out his word and healed them;
he rescued them from the grave. - I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise. - Praise the Lord.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands. - Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice. - Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
they will be remembered forever. - Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness. - Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him. - I love the Lord, for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry for mercy.
Because he turned his ear to me,
I will call on him as long as I live. - When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place. - The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in humans. - The Lord has done it this very day;
let us rejoice today and be glad. - Lord, save us!
Lord, grant us success!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
From the house of the Lord we bless you. - Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord. - Blessed are those who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart. - I will praise you with an upright heart
as I learn your righteous laws. - How can a young person stay on the path of purity?
By living according to your word. - I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your commands. - I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you. - I rejoice in following your statutes
as one rejoices in great riches. - I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I have set my heart on your laws. - Turn my heart toward your statutes
and not toward selfish gain. - I will walk about in freedom,
for I have sought out your precepts.
I will hasten and not delay
to obey your commands.But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.Next verse!With image
