Bengali- O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
thou understandest my thought afar off. - For there is not a word in my tongue,
but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. - Whither shall I go from thy spirit?
or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there:
if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. - For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well. - Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. - Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
for I lift up my soul unto thee. - Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him,
to all that call upon him in truth. - The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous. - The Lord preserveth the strangers;
he relieveth the fatherless and widow:
but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. - He healeth the broken in heart,
and bindeth up their wounds. - For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. - Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. - But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. - For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of thy name:
and deliver us, and purge away our sins,
for thy name's sake. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.Next verse!With image
