Chinese (traditional)- For a thousand years in your sight
are like yesterday when it is past,
or like a watch in the night. - So teach us to count our days
that we may gain a wise heart. - Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and prosper for us the work of our hands—
O prosper the work of our hands! - You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.” - He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. - When I thought, “My foot is slipping,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul. - O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - The Lord loves those who hate evil;
he guards the lives of his faithful;
he rescues them from the hand of the wicked. - Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name. - The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far he removes our transgressions from us. - As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. - But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments. - I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being. - O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples. - Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually. - For he satisfies the thirsty,
and the hungry he fills with good things. - He sent out his word and healed them,
and delivered them from destruction. - I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples,
and I will sing praises to you among the nations. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
and let your glory be over all the earth. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever. - Praise the Lord!
Happy are those who fear the Lord,
who greatly delight in his commandments. - It is well with those who deal generously and lend,
who conduct their affairs with justice. - For the righteous will never be moved;
they will be remembered forever.
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness.But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.Next verse!With image
