Bible Verses about 'Psalm 27'
- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - Though an host should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me,
in this will I be confident. - One thing have I desired of the Lord,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple. - I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. - In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me. - Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
before the sons of men! - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - Blessed is he
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - When I kept silence, my bones waxed old
through my roaring all the day long. - I acknowledge my sin unto thee,
and mine iniquity have I not hid.
I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord;
and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. - Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. - I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye. - For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - By the word of the Lord were the heavens made;
and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. - Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile. - Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. - The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - The face of the Lord is against them that do evil,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. - The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. - The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday. - Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. - A little that a righteous man hath
is better than the riches of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken:
but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. - The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear unto my cry;
hold not thy peace at my tears:
for I am a stranger with thee,
and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.Next verse!With image
