But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled.

The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others.He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart; who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
A person finds joy in giving an apt reply— and how good is a timely word!To make an apt answer is a joy to a man, and a word in season, how good it is!
Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.
He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.
Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good?
Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice.Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice.
See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness.Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
