Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Rule'
- The Lord, your God, will bless you as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but borrow from none. You shall rule over many nations, but none shall rule over you.
- Authority will be granted to the diligent,
but the lazy will be enslaved. - And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful.
- The wealthy man lords it over the poor,
and the borrower becomes the slave of the lender. - Wealth and honor are from you,
you reign over all.
In your hand are power and might;
it to is in your hand make great and to give strength to all. - Like a city that has been breached and made defenseless
is the man devoid of self-control. - But from you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah,
among the tiniest of the clans of Judah,
from you will come forth for me
one who is to be a ruler in Israel,
one whose origins are from the distant past,
from ancient times. - For we are not struggling against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, the powers, and the cosmic rulers of this present darkness, and against the spirits of evil in the heavens.
- For it is in him that the entire fullness of deity dwells in bodily form, and you share this fullness in him who is the head of every ruler and power.
- Guide my steps in accord with your word
and never let evil triumph over me. - It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city. - Fine words are not becoming to a fool,
and much less are false words to a noble. - God blessed them and told them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth; subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the seas and over the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.”
- And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.”
- I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I have set your judgments before me. - I will praise you in sincerity of heart
as I ponder your righteous judgments. - His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. Since you have been faithful in small matters, I will give you much greater responsibilities. Come and share your master’s joy.’
- Every word you utter is true,
and all your righteous judgments are everlasting. - For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver.
The Lord is our king;
he is the one who will save us. - Hence, as sin’s reign resulted in death, so the grace of God also might reign through righteousness resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- I will put my Spirit in you and make you follow my statutes and my ordinances.
- We have sinned and done what is wrong, we have acted wickedly and rebelled, we have rejected your commandments and your laws.
- I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God.
- Observe the ordinances of the Lord, your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and what he witnessed in writing in the law of Moses. In this way you will prosper in whatever you do and wherever you go.
Return and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people: Thus says the Lord, the God of David, your father: I have heard, I have seen your tears. I will heal you today, and the day after tomorrow you will go up to the temple of the Lord.A fool spurns his father’s correction,
but whoever heeds admonition is prudent. Therefore, take care to live as intelligent people, and do not be like those who are senseless. Make the most of the present time, for this is a wicked age.Next verse!With image
