Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Safety'
- In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety. - Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.” - But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid? - Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out. - God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. - You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. - The Lord is good,
a refuge in times of trouble.
He cares for those who trust in him. - Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken. - He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. - The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. - You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you. - My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
- The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands. - So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in humans. - Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. - I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.
- The name of the Lord is a fortified tower;
the righteous run to it and are safe. - Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. - The wealth of the rich is their fortified city;
they imagine it a wall too high to scale. - Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. - As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him. - The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble. - Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident.
But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble.He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he.
