| Then Jesus said to those Jews who did believe in him, “If you remain faithful to my word, you will truly be my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” | Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” |
| Therefore, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops. | Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light. What you have spoken in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops. |
| I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.” | My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.” |
| When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.” | But Jesus hearing it, answered him, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed.” |
