Saith (3/4)

  • Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.
  • So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.
  • And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
  • Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.
  • But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
  • But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
  • And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
  • But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”
  • And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
  • And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”
  • Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
  • And behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
  • Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
  • Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’
  • But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”
  • But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
  • Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”
  • When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
  • Seek good, and not evil,
    that you may live;
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
    as you have said.
  • And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.
  • And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
  • And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
  • And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.
  • And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.”
  • He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
