- The Lord makes poor and rich;
He humbles, He also exalts. - There is no one holy like the Lord,
Indeed, there is no one besides You,
Nor is there any rock like our God. - But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God does not see as man sees, since man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
- Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - As for God, His way is blameless;
The word of the Lord is refined;
He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. - For this reason You are great, Lord God; for there is no one like You, and there is no God except You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

- I have made a covenant with my eyes;
How then could I look at a virgin? - Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, a proof of things not seen.
- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the gospel.
- In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be put to shame;
In Your righteousness rescue me. - Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight.
Stop doing evil. - For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- Because in much wisdom there is much grief; and increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.
- Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! - No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.
- But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written: “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
- Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Rebuke the oppressor,
Obtain justice for the orphan,
Plead for the widow’s case. - You know this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Now everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
- But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- I will raise my eyes to the mountains;
From where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”
- For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- No one is to say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.
- And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
- That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.
- All these were continually devoting themselves with one mind to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
- For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
- Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
- Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost sinner Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life.

- For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- He is also the head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
- Then the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not reach out and put your hand on him.” So Satan departed from the presence of the Lord.
- One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust!” - We love, because He first loved us.
- For am I now seeking the favor of people, or of God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.
- In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was a formless and desolate emptiness, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
- Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment.
- For nothing will be impossible with God.
- “Come now, and let us debate your case,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They shall become as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be like wool.” - Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
- Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.
- I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
- Do not judge, so that you will not be judged.
- Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
