- A wise son makes a glad father,
But a foolish son is the grief of his mother. - For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. - The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters. - Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
- As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. - Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones. - Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them. - Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
- In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise. - Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

And the son of man that You visit him? - Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished,
But he who gathers by labor will increase. - Do not overwork to be rich;
Because of your own understanding, cease! - These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
- So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom. - Judge not, that you be not judged.
- You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
- If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
