Bible Verses about 'Scripture that makes you wise'
- A wise son makes a glad father,
but a foolish son is a sorrow to his mother. - The Lord makes poor and makes rich;

but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. - When words are many, transgression is not lacking,
but whoever restrains his lips is prudent. - Do not toil to acquire wealth;
be discerning enough to desist. - Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
- These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
- So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom. - Judge not, that you be not judged.
- You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
