Does it now appear to you that I am trying to gain the approval of human beings rather than the approval of God? Am I seeking to please people? The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but worldly cares and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit. Trust wholeheartedly in the Lord rather than relying on your own intelligence. In everything you do, acknowledge him, and he will see that your paths are straight. Proverbs 3:5-6	Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. trust dependence heart

At the time that discipline is received, it always seems painful rather than pleasant, but afterward it yields a harvest of peace and uprightness to those who have been trained by it.
