| God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them. | So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. |

| In the same way, husbands should love their wives as they do their own bodies. The man who loves his wife loves himself. | So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. |
| Let us then make every effort to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall by following that example of refusing to believe. | Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. |

In the same way, your light must shine so that it can be seen by others; this will enable them to observe your good works and give praise to your Father in heaven. | Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. |
| Be on your guard that you do not lose what we have worked to accomplish so that you will receive your reward in full. | Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. |
| Prepare in advance what you want to say, and return to the Lord. Say to him, “Take away all guilt and give us what is good, so that we may present as offerings the bullocks from our stalls.” | Take words with you, And return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity; Receive us graciously, For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.” |
| I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. | These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. |
