| But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. | But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.” |

| In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. | In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. |
| O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. | Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. |
