  • Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.
  • See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.

    that you may live;

  • When he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed.
  • And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
  • Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.
  • The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
  • For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
  • And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
