Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed. For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.
Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.”

Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared, for today is holy to our Lord. Don’t be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength.”

Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work of creation which he had done.

And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”He took the cup, gave thanks, and gave to them, saying, “All of you drink it, for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins.”

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”
