- But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me. - The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have, get understanding. - So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
