Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! - Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts in accordance with them will be like a wise man who constructed his house on a rock foundation.

that you have eternal life. - The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today.
- All of these were constantly engaged in prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
- Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from anything that can defile flesh or spirit, and thereby make our holiness perfect in the fear of God.
- Amen, amen, I say to you,
the one who believes in me
will also do the works that I do,
and indeed will do even greater ones than these,
because I am going to the Father. - Let those who are wise understand these words,
and let the prudent acknowledge them.
For straight are the ways of the Lord;
the upright walk in them,
but sinners stumble. - Do not assert that the past was better than the present,
for such a statement is not a sign of wisdom. - Therefore, whoever breaks even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever observes these commandments and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
- For they said to you, “In the final age there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly passions.” It is these people who create divisions, who follow their natural instincts and do not possess the Spirit.
- However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.
- For we brought nothing into this world, and we can take nothing out. If we have food and clothing, let us be content with these.
- By these he has given us his precious promises, great beyond all price, so that through them you may escape from the corruption with which evil desires have infected the world and thereby may come to share in the divine nature.
- Out of the same mouth flow blessings and curses. This should not be so, my brethren.
- You shall keep these things that I command you today in your heart. Teach them to your children. You shall talk of them when you are sitting in your home, and when you are walking along the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.
- But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness.
- If we are diligent in observing all of these commandments before the Lord, our God, as he commanded of us, then this will be our righteousness.

In the world

- Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ.
- You can eat any water creature that has fins and scales; those you can eat. Whatever does not have fins or scales, you are not to eat. It is unclean for you.
- He cried out, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” And with these words he breathed his last.
- Therefore, brethren, be diligent in providing a firm foundation for your call and election. If you do this, you will never stumble, and you will receive a glorious welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- Finally, brethren, let your minds be filled with whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, whatever is excellent, whatever is worthy of praise.

I warn you, as I warned you previously, that no one who does such things will inherit the kingdom of God.
