- Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. - All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
- Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
- To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
- For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
- Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
- Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding. - The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. - Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
- And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
- And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing.
- For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
- For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
- And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
- But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
- And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
- Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
- He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
- So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. - Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
- One thing have I desired of the Lord,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple. - But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
