Bible Verses about 'Think'

For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
And when you are praying, do not use thoughtless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him? What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For this reason you must be ready as well; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Take care that no one deceives himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
I have made a covenant with my eyes; How then could I look at a virgin?I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?
Every person’s way is right in his own eyes, But the Lord examines the hearts.Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Do not weary yourself to gain wealth; Stop dwelling on it.Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
If anyone thinks himself to be religious, yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
A rich person’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own imagination. The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.
So you are to know in your heart that the Lord your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.
One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility. He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions.Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
