- Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
- Give justice to the weak and the orphan;
maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute. - Therefore whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed from the housetops.
- One thing I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
to live in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to inquire in his temple. - Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath.

Their spirit is not right in them,

- This God—his way is perfect;

For you have been a fortress for me
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
- “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Lord commends.
- Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father.
- Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him;
do not fret over those who prosper in their way,
over those who carry out evil devices. - Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

- Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
- So I will display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
