- Do not swerve either to the right or to the left;

and I grasp your right hand.
It is I who say to you,
Do not fear; I will help you. - Do I derive any pleasure from the death of the wicked? asks the Lord God. Would I not rather rejoice to see them turn away from their wickedness and live?
- I keep the Lord always before me,
for with him at my right hand
I will never fall. - Acquire wisdom and gain understanding;
never forget or turn aside from my words. - You will show me the path to life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence
and everlasting delights at your right hand. - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer.
However, the face of the Lord
is set against those who do evil. - Do not pride yourself on your own wisdom;
fear the Lord and turn your back on evil.
This will provide healing for your flesh
and restore strength to your body. - Rend your hearts and not your garments,
and turn back to the Lord, your God.
For he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, rich in kindness,
and always prepared to relent from punishing. - Repent and renounce all your transgressions. Otherwise your iniquity will prove to be your downfall.
- To anyone who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself overcame and sat with my Father on his throne.
- The righteous call out, and the Lord hears them;
he rescues them from all their troubles.
The Lord remains close to the brokenhearted,
and he saves those whose spirit is crushed. - Turn away from the mouth that deceives
and keep your distance from lips that mislead. - And if then my people who bear my name humble themselves and pray to me and seek my presence as they turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear them from heaven and forgive their sins and restore their land.
- With our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. For the sake of the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, ignoring its shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
- However, if the wicked renounce all of the sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is right and just, they shall surely live; they shall not die.
- For:
“If anyone wishes to love life
and to experience good days,
he must restrain his tongue from evil
and his lips from deceitful speech.
He must turn away from evil and do good,
seek peace and pursue it.” - Exalted at God’s right hand, he received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
- He is the reflection of God’s glory
and the perfect expression of his very being,
sustaining all things by his powerful word.
Achieving purification from sins,
he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high. - Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore, he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them the path to follow. - I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
- Yet even now, says the Lord,
return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. - Now who is going to harm you if you are eager to do what is right?
- He who called you is holy. Therefore, be holy yourselves in all your conduct. For Scripture says, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
- If you listen to the voice of the Lord, your God, and you do what is right in his sight, if you listen to his ordinances and observe all of his laws, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.
- Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.
- I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Repent and live!
- Do not judge, so that you in turn may not be judged.
- For I know that through your prayers and with the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will result in deliverance for me.
- Shun evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.
