- Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:

turn ye even to me with all your heart,
and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. - I have set the Lord always before me:

cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. - Envy thou not the oppressor,

For the froward is abomination to the Lord:
but his secret is with the righteous. - The statutes of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil. - Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
- Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. - Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. - Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not;
neither decline from the words of my mouth. - Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you. - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

do justice to the afflicted and needy. - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
- Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip. - Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
- Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
- Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
- Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness.
