- There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death. - Search me, O God, and know my heart:

Stand ye in the ways, and see,
and ask for the old paths,
where is the good way, and walk therein,
and ye shall find rest for your souls.
But they said, We will not walk therein. - And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
- Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. - Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
- There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

- Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
- Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
- So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
- Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
- Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
