- And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?
- That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ.
- But now, O Lord,
You are our Father;
We are the clay, and You our potter;
And all we are the work of Your hand. - If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
- If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
- Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
- For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
- Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
- This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him. - For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
- For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
- Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
- What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
- But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You. - We love Him because He first loved us.
- What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
- You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
- Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
- Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
- Take words with you,
And return to the Lord.
Say to Him,
“Take away all iniquity;
Receive us graciously,
For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.” - Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
- For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
- For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.
- For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
- “For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live!”
- And the people said to Joshua, “The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!”
- And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
- I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s demand. - For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
- Therefore You are great, O Lord God. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
- In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
