we are the clay, and you are our potter;
we are all the work of your hand. - For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
- If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- For we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.
- You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

- The saying is trustworthy, for:
If we have died with him,
we will also live with him. - What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
- For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
- Save us, we pray, O Lord!
O Lord, we pray, give us success!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We bless you from the house of the Lord. - Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward.
- We love because he first loved us.
- For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.
- Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.

- For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
- Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.
- Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all iniquity;
accept what is good,
and we will pay with bulls
the vows of our lips.” - For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.
- And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
- For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live.
- And the people said to Joshua, “The Lord our God we will serve, and his voice we will obey.”
- Therefore you are great, O Lord God. For there is none like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
- For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- To you, O God of my fathers,
I give thanks and praise,
for you have given me wisdom and might,
and have now made known to me what we asked of you,
for you have made known to us the king's matter. - For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’
