- Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.
- If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.
- For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
- But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules.
- Save us, we pray, O Lord!
O Lord, we pray, give us success!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We bless you from the house of the Lord. - But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.
- So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom. - So we fasted and implored our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.
- Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
- The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
- For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.
- For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
- Restore us, O Lord God of hosts!
Let your face shine, that we may be saved! - For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
- Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
- So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?”
We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.” And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.Next verse!With image
