- And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
- Blessed are you when men hate you,
And when they exclude you,
And revile you, and cast out your name as evil,
For the Son of Man’s sake. - And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
- When pride comes, then comes shame;
But with the humble is wisdom. - My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
- When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you. - Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace;

For He has no pleasure in fools.
Pay what you have vowed. - When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.

When I learn Your righteous judgments. - Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
- When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”
- If I say, “My foot slips,”
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. - But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
- Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us.
