- But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
- Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good,
and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord. - And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”
- But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- Because I delivered the poor who cried for help,
and the fatherless who had none to help him.
The blessing of him who was about to perish came upon me,
and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. - Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
- Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
- Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
- So Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.”
- Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord! - And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
- For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
- Open your mouth for the mute,
for the rights of all who are destitute. - Whoever gets sense loves his own soul;
he who keeps understanding will discover good. - He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. - And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
- For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. - Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble. - Who has performed and done this,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I, the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he. - Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
- Oh, how abundant is your goodness,
which you have stored up for those who fear you
and worked for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of the children of mankind! - But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.Next verse!With image
