Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Whom'
- Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid? - Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you. - Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
- Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
- And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
- Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to act. - Blessed is the one whom God corrects;
so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. - Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. - We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
- Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.
- My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in. - When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.
- I love you, Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
- But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
- And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
- But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
- And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
- For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people he chose for his inheritance. - Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices.’ But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the Lord.
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
